Elders Scroll: Oblivion & Prince of Persia: Sands of Time

March 31st, 2006 | 2 Comments | Posted in @Miscellaneous

I just got Elders Scroll IV: Oblivion and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time (I know, I know… but better late than never). Had both installed and started playing with both. Crazy, I know. That’s why I didn’t get far. I started with Sands of Time then half way through I had to try out Oblivion. Now I’m torn between which to finish first. I guess it’s the season for sleepless nights again. Haven’t been doing that since WoW. Had months of withdrawal symtoms but I survived! Let’s see how well I cope this time round.

World of Warcraft rest day

World of Warcraft servers is down. At the moment there is no ETA on the uptime. I guess this is the best time for all the WoW players to take the rest which they (will obviously deny) they needed. I used to play WoW and have 2 level 30+ characters in 2 different servers. WoW is no doubt the most engaging and addictive MMORPG I’ve ever played. I managed to stop playing with sheer will power. The fact that my boss threatened to fire me if I keep coming to work late helps too. But while players are fuming over the lost of play time, I can’t help wondering what’s happening in Blizzard. I’m pretty sure the programmers are working their wits off to get the servers up. So those of you WoW players out there, take a rest and let them do their work. Meanwhile, you guys go catch up with the real world.

Air Car

Forget about the gas price increase. Go for Air Car. This car uses Compressed Air Technology (CAT) to power. For the moment it costs less than $3.00 to filled up and can move at city limit speed of 60mph. Also, the emission is cold air which can be re-routed to use for the car air conditioning. I can’t wait for this car to hit the public!

Check it out here.

I took this pic from the balcony of my new apartment. As crazy as it sounds, this is the first time I’ve seen a car from the top down. I couldn’t make out the model of each car cause they all look the same. Some even look stylish from the top but when I got down to look at it, turns out to be our dear old national car which has nothing to shout about.

Galactic Civilization 2

I got GalCiv2 recently and has been playing it over the weekend. I played GalCiv1 before and I noticed there isn’t much change since. The graphics are definitely better but other than that not much different from the previous version. However, I have always enjoyed GalCiv and am still enjoying it. This time round, my custom race is the Ori and I’m out to conquer the galaxy will my supreme might. Hallowed are the Ori! (The Drengin is a pain in the @$$ though…)
