Ok ok I know. Firefox 1.5 is here. You know it too. Most people have already post this on their blogs. Well, I’m not here to announce it’s here. Just wanna comment on it though.
I’ve upgraded my firefox to 1.5 recently. The most noticeable change is in the Tools | Options UI. I think that’s pretty cool and more user friendly. However, I don’t notice much change except for the error pages that pops up whenever it encounters a broken link or what not.
I’m still facing the same problem on this version as I do with the previous version. That dang javascript for some webpages just won’t work. I’ll added the URLs to the “Allowed Sites” under the Block Pop up Windows option and I’ve enabled both Java and Javascripts. I don’t have this problem with IE though. But that’s not enough to convert me back to becoming an IE user. Maybe I’m missing something. Any ideas?
Overall, the new look for the banners (for the spreadfirefox campaign) is pretty good. I like the fresh look and theme. But then again, I’m a sucker for asthetics…
